Building the community, one family at a time.  Serving women & their families since 2011

MINE TREASURE, YOUR PLEASURE

A major aspect of women's ability to network is body image. Many new immigrants are in need of attires that make them feel comfortable and happy to network with their kinds. A good appearance enhances ability to go out and network which is really needed to have access to valuable information that can help them settle productively in Canada. When you donate your gently used clothings to our women, you are contributing towards helping build a woman's confidence to network as network determines networth. Please support this project.

We accept gently used and brand new traditional clothings. We equally do pick up. Thanks.

MENTAL HEALTH - Impact on racialized communities and solutions

The webinar hosted by Global Women Ambassadors Canada, led by prominent figures in the black community in Canada and beyond, highlighted key insights from the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding autism spectrum disorder: Autism, a spectrum disorder affecting brain development, affects approximately 1 in 100 children.

While its characteristics may manifest in early childhood, diagnosis often occurs later. Autistic individuals' abilities and needs vary, from independent living to requiring lifelong care. Evidence-based psycho-social interventions can enhance communication and social skills, benefiting both autistic individuals and caregivers.

Community and societal actions are vital for accessibility, inclusivity, and support. Learning of an autism diagnosis is pivotal for loved ones, triggering various emotions. Understanding the autistic experience reveals opportunities. Education extends beyond autistic individuals to encompass their support networks.

The webinar received accolades from the attendees as it featured experts that provided information on supporting autistic children and families, featuring parents that are directly in the situation helped to deepen attendees understanding and foster tolerance.

Embrace Equity - Healthy Co-parenting & Financial Emancipation

Sheffanessea and I embraced. We shared our stories about Parent Alienation as victims and understanding that the pains never go away. We dried our tears, embraced and resolved to be strong for others going through Parent Alienation. With tears in our hearts, we stand strong to bring hope to millions. πŸ‘Š

We orchestrated a groundbreaking webinar focused on fostering equity in healthy co-parenting within Canada. Delving into the intricate dynamics of parent alienation, our discussions shed light on the profound impacts on both the alienated parent and the children involved. Furthermore, we explored the broader ramifications of parent alienation on society as a whole. The repercussions of parent alienation extend far beyond the immediate family unit, affecting social cohesion and communal well-being. By unraveling the complexities of bitter divorces and their toll on familial relationships, we endeavor to devise strategies for managing these challenges and enabling children to lead fulfilling lives.

The webinar emphasized the critical importance of addressing bitter divorces through proactive interventions and compassionate support systems. By fostering effective communication, promoting conflict resolution techniques, and prioritizing the best interests of the children, we aim to mitigate the adverse effects of parental discord.

Through collaborative efforts and community engagement, Global Women Ambassadors Canada is dedicated to advocating for equitable co-parenting practices that prioritize the welfare of children and uphold the principles of justice and compassion. Together, we can navigate the complexities of parent alienation, heal fractured families, and pave the way for a brighter future for all. Join us in our mission to promote harmony, resilience, and empowerment in co-parenting relationships across Canada and we end up building the community one family at a time.

Black Community Leaders Dialogue

When the Black community Leaders come together to discuss gender based violence, it is fireworks as many dimensions usually ignored were brought to the forefront. 'Men cry too' was echoed in the discussions as well. Even though women go through abuse, there are supports and resources available in developed world unlike what happens in Africa. Unfortunately, those kinds of supports and resources are not readily available for men. They suffer in silence as they have to 'man up', 'grow up', 'behave like men' etc. This was an explosive and enlightening discourse.

Global Women Ambassadors Canada in its quest to 'build the community one family at a time is taking a lead in the Black Community in Canada to come together to discuss the challenges that Gender Based Violence pose to the Community. We are working with community leaders and experts who are connecting with the grassroots on daily basis educating on challenges posed by politics, immigration, settlement, jobs, entrepreneurship, mental health and other issues.
